The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that can be used as a car seat carrier. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland pathways. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its nimble maneuverability and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. This latest version features independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to 'perfectly navigate all terrains and types'.

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and single fold pushchair size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our push and turn test, it did better than the majority of other strollers that we tested, but it's still not the easiest to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger sunshades.

It took us just under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. All of the components required tools. It's missing some features that we consider essential in double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position and can also rotate. This is useful in rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them move and it performed well, although it seemed slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also produce a wide range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is simple to fold and can fit into the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we tried, however the wheels are made of rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag and plenty of groceries. The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that are either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect because it's not as quiet as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or turn around and face their parents, potentially reducing sibling disputes over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a big tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack trays. It also has an automatic frame lock and a superior compact fold.

It folds down compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
