The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of a button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your home to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the best robot cleaner and mop robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best robot vacuum and mop for tile floors (new content from M 1bar) performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app sweep and mop robot a voice assistant that works offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than what some homeowners require.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the best robot vacuum cleaner front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station.
