The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment offers 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is roughly on what is the largest counter depth french door refrigerator you would expect from the size of a French door fridge that costs this much. It comes with a decent size refrigerator with an ice maker in the left door. But it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create a a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is attractive. The LED lighting adds a nice touch. The bins for storage inside come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers include temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and shut however I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price, including Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and it has a ton of customization options. It will also send notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill which is an option that is available in a few other GE fridges that allows you to preset how many cups of water you'd like to dispense at once. The fridge shows a countdown to show you how much water is left however it's not as effective as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment to keep fruits and vegetables fresher longer, and two compressors for the best preservation of food. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient and produces an ice pyramid with only a little water. This fridge is ideal for a single family or a kitchenette with a built-in appearance and top-of-the best food preservation.

This refrigerator was rated as the top in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0°F and never fluctuated more than a tiny fraction - this is essential to avoid the risk of a freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, achieving the desired initial set temperature within an hour and maintaining the temperature constant over the course of our testing.

Bosch is known for its premium appliances, so it's no surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi and Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app lets you monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is pricey and has great features and functions at a fair price.

It is important to know the limitations of the fridge. You may need to get creative with tall objects because the fridge has a small shelf space. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great option for those who require plenty of space in a small frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features a standard french door fridge freezer with water dispenser door design, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set of crisper drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give tall items more room. You'll also find a full width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best features of this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it simple to move the ice to the refrigerator to be used when it is needed. The freezer also has thoughtful design features, such as sliding drawers that help you organize your items. It has a large bin for storing frozen food, and a separate bin for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting and more of your fridge from your smartphone. It's a simple way to monitor your refrigerator and manage it, especially when away from home.

The doors pose a problem with this refrigerator. The handles with a sunken design let shorter people open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a difficult time closing them without slamming. It would have been more effective if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those looking to combine the aesthetics of a french door fridge with ice maker and water dispenser-door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is superior to counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which helps make it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option when you're looking for a French door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a basic design that's not as striking visually as some of the competition however it comes with enough features to make it a solid choice. Its most important feature is the temperature adjustable drawer that helps keep food items like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated above the two crisper bins, is a nice feature. This drawer lets you redirect part of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, so you can put away food items that require extra attention. This feature can be adjusted using a slider located outside the drawer. You can also adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the generic settings are more effective than the specific ones.

During my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent in various parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator did not differ significantly from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance but doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be paired with a smart thermostat to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge resistant" finish. It is capable of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing, even compared to shiny stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
